OEGRenewables has recently announced a series of successful contract awards and completions in the UK delivered by the following companies:

Hughes Subsea provided ROV services to facilitate subsea inspection work for Vattenfall on three of the company’s UK offshore wind farms. Services included General Visual Inspection (GVI) and 3D photogrammetry of Cable Protection Systems (CPS) and cable-ends using the VALOR Observation class ROV on Thanet, Kentish Flats and Kentish Flats Extension offshore wind farms, located in UK waters near Ramsgate.
23 Degrees Renewables, specialists in onshore, nearshore, and offshore cable installation completed a 13.5km fibre optic cable installation project for BT in the Southern Highlands of Scotland. The project involved the construction of a modular barge, the laying of the fibre optic cable and the installation of associated protection shells.

Geosight 3D, specialists in 3D mapping and modelling, conducted a large-scale hydrographic survey within Scapa Flow and Kirkwall Bay in Orkney, paving the way for the development of a new deepwater facility to support wind farm expansion off the coast of Scotland.

Internationally, OEG Renewables has continued to expand its global footprint with growing activities in the APAC Region, the US and Europe. In Taiwan, OEG Renewables has been involved in all the major offshore projects (with over -twenty contract awards)providing integrated service solutions, leveraging its in-country resources and capabilities, and positioning the company to support the development of offshore wind projects in Japan, South Korea and the wider APAC region.

These recent achievements demonstrate OEG Renewables’ commitment to delivering innovative and cost-effective subsea solutions for the offshore renewable energy industry.
OEG Renewablescontinues to be a leader in innovation, its multi-million-dollar investment in SEAJET Systems Limited (SEAJET) made a major impact last year as it entered the subsea energy sector as the world’s only dedicated all-electric controlled flow excavation (E-CFE) service provider.

•    This revolutionary E-CFE system (HYDROMOLE) is the most powerful and advanced system available in the market, with the ability to deliver 400kW of power to the seabed, independent of water depth.
•    The system is 50% more powerful than existing hydraulic technology, is safer and cleaner and with no risk of pressurised oil leaks to the environment.
•    The advanced subsea equipment has all been designed and manufactured in partnership with Soil Machine Dynamics Limited (SMD) in the UK, underlining OEG and SEAJET’s strong commitment to developing highly skilled green jobs for the benefit of the local economies in which it works.

As a trusted industry leader, OEGRenewables continues to pursue an ambitious growth strategy with their latest acquisition of Bluestream Offshore in December 2023; a highly respected industry leading specialist in subsea and topside services based in the Netherlands. The acquisition of Bluestreamgreatly expanded OEGRenewable’s subsea and inspection capabilities and granted the Group further access to the growing European offshore renewables sector.

With the global energy transition gathering pace, a remarkable shift towards offshore renewable energy sourcesis underway, and OEG Renewables is positioned to be an integral part of this transformative journey.
